Burgas Coliving
Vetren (Burgas), Black Sea Coast, Bulgaria
Thirteen rooms in a garden compound fifteen kilometres inland from Burgas, next to mineral springs the Thracians got to first. Two coworking rooms, a call booth, and a bus ride between you and the sea.

About the space
Burgas Coliving opened in 2022 in Vetren, a village fifteen kilometres inland from Burgas, and runs thirteen bedrooms and nine bathrooms out of a single building set in an eight-thousand square metre garden — a garden zoned like a small town, with a working area, a sports area and a games area all marked out. Nobody from this project has stayed here yet. Everything on this page is somebody else’s account, and should be read as one.
The setup, in principle
Two coworking rooms and a dedicated call room, with more than two hundred square metres of communal space behind them and an open-air working area in the garden for the months that allow it. The programme is the selling point rather than the furniture: skillshares, feedback sessions, family dinners and BBQs, movie and game nights, bonfire evenings, local food and drink tastings, and day trips. Guest reviews add group workouts, yoga and beach days. What is optional and what everyone actually turns up to is not something a listing can tell you.
Neighbourhood
Vetren sits in one of Bulgaria’s oldest spa areas — mineral springs worked for something like two and a half thousand years — and there is a mineral-water pool and spa a few metres from the door. The sea is not one of the things within walking distance: guests describe a twenty-minute bus ride to reach the city centre and the beaches, with the airport also around fifteen kilometres out. A park, grocery shops, a pharmacy and a bakery are local. The fifteen kilometres are the whole proposition, and they cost you every spontaneous evening in town.
Best for
Nomads who want a programmed community, garden-and-village pace, and Black Sea prices
Less good for
Anyone who wants to walk to the beach, car-free travellers on a tight schedule, winter visitors
